We would like to inform you that we will be performing a maintenance window starting on Aug 10, 10:30 AM EST to 17:00 PM EST,
during which your VPS will be offline for 5 hours or less during the window.
This is the last step of moving our storage infra to the new datacenter
In the past the downtime was because we were moving the SAN storage servers and now we are moving the actual compute nodes
We're upgrading where your data lives.
We'll be moving our storage servers to our newer datacenter in Montreal — a facility we've operated for several years now, with stronger redundancy, cooling, and physical security than our current site and much more room for expansion.
What changes for you: nothing. Both facilities already run on the same network, so your IP addresses, routing, and performance stay exactly as they are today.
There's no configuration to update on your end — once the window closes, everything works as before, on better infrastructure.
